Memories

I will give you a very bad memory that I have. Okay so every year we go to Red River, New Mexico for our family reunion. This particular trip would haunt me for the rest of my life. My cousin Kace Neskorik and I went and rode four-wheelers on these really cool mountain trails they have. And of course his dad went with us. It was really fun when we got up to the top of the mountain, but the way down would change everything. I was driving my cousin's four-wheeler when we rounded the last turn of the trail. I was going way too fast when I hit the turn. I wanted to drift it. As I came to the turn a green four door jeep came around the corner. And that's when it happened. I hit both the rear and the front breaks. We just kept sliding. Then BOOM!! We slammed into a two foot thick tree and fell down a twenty foot drop. I was hoping that maybe the tree would stop us. And of course it didn't. We plowed over the tree but when we hit it, it turned the four-wheeler snapping the front end in half which turned us side ways. We started rolling and my boot got caught in between the break and the handlebars. We rolled over once and I threw my cousin out of the way so it would roll over him. It took me with it and rolled over me three times. We only went half way down the drop but the four-wheeler went all the way. It is a great thing that I was wearing a helmet because my head hit a boulder cracking the helmet. Of course I got my third concussion from it. God was definitely with us that day. And if it was not for him, I probably would not be here to write this story.
